Having a celebrant led wedding ceremony gives you the freedom to celebrate your love and commitment in the way you choose. There are no restrictions on the words or music and you can even write your own wedding vows.

Although most people still choose to exchange rings you can include other symbolic elements such as handfasting, ringwarming or jumping the broom! If you wish you can include familiar elements like signing a certificate or a first kiss.

One of the benefits of a tailor made ceremony is being able to add traditional or religious elements; this can be really helpful if you need to incorporate different cultures and beliefs.

As you don’t need a licensed venue there is greater scope to find somewhere special and meaningful to you.

In addition to traditional venues I have conducted weddings and vow renewals in woods, stately homes, gardens, village halls, pubs, marquees and even on an island! A bespoke ceremony enables you to make the most of the setting; creating an atmosphere that truly reflects your own style and personalities.

I design each ceremony from scratch so it is unique to you. I spend time discussing the dreams and desires you have for your future together and how you wish to convey your love and commitment. Working together we can design a beautiful ceremony incorporating words and gestures that are significant and meaningful to you both.

I can help you write vows that express your feelings for each other, suggest ways to include your friends and family and provide inspiration to make the occasion truly meaningful and memorable.

To obtain your marriage certificate, or register a civil partnership, you will need to visit the register office to make the appropriate legal declarations with two witnesses. If you like you can save exchanging rings and vows for your ceremony.

Carrying out the legalities separately enables you to declare your love and commitment to each other in more personal and creative ways. You can begin your new life together in a place, and in a style, that truly reflects who you are and celebrates your uniqueness as a couple.

“We really want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the beautiful words you spoke and the great style you showed whilst performing our wedding ceremony. We were very moved, as were our guests. Neither of us could begin to imagine how anyone could have done it better. We had both dreamed and discussed what would be the perfect ceremony in the perfect location; little did we ever believe that our dreams would come true. The whole ceremony exceeded our expectations and will be with us always.”
