About Me

I love helping people put their feelings into words to create meaningful and memorable ceremonies. I know from experience the pleasure to be had from a personalised ceremony which truly reflects your own beliefs and values. As an independent celebrant I put your dreams and desires at the heart of what I do.

Your ceremony only happens once and it needs to be just right. I use my skills, creativity and training to design thoughtful and engaging ceremonies that are also well structured and professional. I understand that a good ceremony isn’t just about words; adding elements of participation or a few symbolic gestures adds depth and really helps to mark the moment.

Each ceremony begins with a meeting so I can get to know what you want and design the ceremony to suit. As an award winning project manager and researcher I have worked for blue chip companies, universities, charities and small businesses. All my roles have involved working closely with people to discover their needs and desires and communicate these to others in effective and inspirational ways.

For the last three years I have supervised students on the MA in Events Management at Westminster University. This role enables me to keep in touch with key trends and theoretical developments bringing fresh insights and inspiration to my ceremonies.

I am a confident public speaker, a published writer and have organised many events; everything from national conferences to birthday parties! For your peace of mind I am insured and CRB checked.
